Oregon Opportunity Grant // Opportunity Grant
Amount: $1,602-$5,076

The Oregon Opportunity Grant (OOG) is Oregon's largest state-funded, need-based grant program for college students. Oregon residents of all ages who are pursuing their first associates degree or bachelor's degree at an eligible public or private institution are eligible to apply. Must be an Oregon resident for at least one year prior to applying. Undocumented students, including DACA students, may be eligible. Must submit FAFSA or ORSAA.
National CPR Foundation Healthcare and Education Scholarship Program // National CPR Foundation
Amount: $500
Deadline: Monthly; see website for more details
Incoming and current college students who are at least 18 years of age and have a minimum GPA of 2.8 are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be currently or planning to be enrolled in school majoring in a healthcare or education-related field. Applicants must submit a 500- to 750-word essay describing what motivates them in their career aspirations, and why they want to pursue or are currently studying for a healthcare or education-related degree.
There’s Space for Everyone Scholarship // Extra Space Storage

This scholarship is open to incoming and current undergraduate students in the U.S. during the fall 2023 quarter/semester. Applicants must be 16 years old and submit an essay answering the following prompt: “How have you exhibited a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, or social justice through work, service, or other extra-curricular activities, and how will your education help you continue this commitment during college and beyond?”
C.I.P. Scholarship // College is Power

Students ages 17 years or older who plan to start a program of higher education within the next 12 months or who are currently enrolled in a program of higher education are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Applicants must be citizens or residents of the U.S. and write a 150-word statement answering the following prompt: "What is your primary goal for going to school?"
AISES Apple Scholarship Program // AISES

This scholarship is available to Indigenous college students in the U.S. studying in a STEM field. Must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and higher. Applicants must be a current AISES member at time of application.

This scholarship is open to students worldwide enrolled or accepted for enrollment in undergraduate or graduate studies with a declared major in a science related field. The Cameron Impact Scholarship is awarded annually to 10-15 high school students who have demonstrated excellence in leadership, community service, extracurricular activities, and academics. This scholarship covers the full tuition, fees, and books at any accredited U.S. based college or university that the recipient chooses to attend.

This scholarship is available to students across the country who have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and have completed at least 20 hours of community service in the past year with documentation. Applicants must write a minimum 600 word essay answering one of the following prompts: 1) Why are the academic results of minority youth (k-12), in the areas of reading and mathematics below the national average and what strategies do you believe school systems should implement to improve these statistics? 2) How should the minority community address the nation’s need for economic development? This scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors and individuals entering their freshman year of college during the 2023-2024 academic year. High school seniors who are disabled are eligible for this renewable scholarship. Must be planning to major in engineering, computer science, computer information systems, law, business, or a related field. Must have a cumulative high school GPA of over 2.5.
Truman D. Picard Scholarship // Intertribal Timber Council

This scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students who are Native American and pursuing a higher education in Natural Resources. The Oregon Community Leadership Scholarship is a renewable four-year collegiate scholarship program for current Oregon high school seniors who are emerging leaders, and plan to attend an Oregon trade school, college or university.

ACEC Scholarship // American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Oregon scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors or GED students with no previous college experience. Applicants must be majoring in civil, electrical, mechanical, or environmental engineering at a four-year Oregon university that offers an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Preference is given to students interested in entering a career in consulting engineering.
ACS Scholars Program // ACS Scholars

This scholarship is available to minority high school seniors and college students who are studying or plan to study in fields related to chemistry. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Loprinzi Scholarship // Multnomah Athletic Foundation
Amount: $1,000 and three $8,000 awards

This program is for individuals who are energetic and confident examples of achievement through athletics in our community. Applicants must demonstrate financial need to attend college or university, participate in sports in competitive athletics, engaged in civic involvement and demonstrate leadership in their school and community activities, and have at least a 3.0 GPA.
Ford Scholars Program // Ford Family Foundation
Amount: Award amount is calculated on college cost of attendance, minus other grants and scholarships.

The Ford Scholars Program was created to assist students who otherwise find it impossible, or at least very difficult, to obtain a college degree. Each year, up to 130 renewable scholarships are awarded to Oregon and Siskiyou Country, California. This scholarship is available to students at trade/vocational schools and 2- and 4-year colleges and universities. Applicants must express interest in a career in the airline industry. This scholarship is available to students both in the U.S. and abroad. Applicants to this scholarship must be enrolled in high school, university, or college as a full-time student. Must submit a 750-word essay answering the following questions:
- What is the importance of driver education in reducing the number of deaths as a result of driving?
- What steps can be taken to reduce the number of deaths related to driving?
- Have you ever had an experience of being in a car accident or have seen your friends or family members driving irresponsibly?

First-generation students attending one of TMCF's 47 publicly-supported HBCUs or Predominantly Black Institutions are eligible for this scholarship. 61 scholars will be chosen as winners. All applicants must submit a 2-minute maximum video answering the following prompt: "What would it mean to you and your community to be the first person in your family to earn a college degree?"

This scholarship is available to high school seniors and current college students with financial need. Applicants must be working part or full-time in addition to being students in order to qualify for this scholarship. Applicants must write a 500-word maximum essay responding to one of the provided prompts as well as submit a link to a 2-minute video sharing your experience as a working student.

Female high school seniors living in the Portland Metro Area (Multnomah County) can receive a $500 scholarship from this community service organization by writing a 500-word essay about their hopes and ambitions for the future.
