Academic success center
Many colleges and universities offer free tutoring services on campus, typically through the academic success center. Be sure to set up an appointment or drop by your school's academic success center to receive support with homework, study skills, and exam preparation. There may also be a writing lab in your school's academic success center, which has writing tutors who can help you draft and edit papers. This service is especially helpful for students who are taking a class that requires them to write papers often!
Study groups
If you enjoy a collaborative learning environment, try setting up a study group with classmates. In your study group, you can connect with your peers, help each other understand key class concepts, and prepare for upcoming exams or projects. Try talking to a few classmates during your next class or reach out to them over email to set up a study session!
Office hours
Knowing when and how to ask for help is an essential life skill that can be built in college! If you need help understanding a class concept or studying for an upcoming exam, try emailing your professor or dropping by their office hours. Taking the initiative to get to know your professors and ask for the help you need can go a long way!
Online study resources
Depending on the class you're taking, there may be free online study resources that can help! For example, try using Khan Academy's free resources to strengthen your knowledge in your statistics class or watch CrashCourse's YouTube videos to prepare for an upcoming history exam.
