Tuition is a huge factor when it comes to choosing a college - but hopefully, financial aid and scholarships can support the cost. That's why we created the list of the largest scholarships for college. We're talking about tens of thousands of dollars in free money!

1. Davidson Fellow Scholarship // Organization: Davidson Institute

Amount: Up to $50,000

Deadline: March 10th, 2021

Are you extraordinary? If so, the Davidson Fellow Scholarship is interested in you. Since its inception, the Davidson Fellow Scholarship has given out $7.4 million in scholarship money to students under the age of 18 who show extraordinary accomplishments in a particular field, whether it’s science, math, music, literature, or technology. Every year, they select three winners who qualify to win $50,000, $25,000 and $10,000 for first, second, and third prize selections respectively.

2. Google Scholarships // Organization: Google

Amount: Up to $10,000

Deadline: Varies

This past year Google has hosted a few scholarships which include the Generation Google Scholarship, Google Lime Scholarship, and more. Multiple scholarships are available, Google Scholarships are open now with rotating deadlines. 

3. Create a Greeting Card Scholarship // Gallery Collection

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: March 9th, 2021

The Gallery Collection is looking for artists and graphic designers who are up to the challenge of creating a eye-catching greeting card. For this contest, submit an original artwork that people can use as a greeting card and be entered in for a chance to win $10,000

4. Doodle for Google Scholarship // Google

Amount: Up to $50,000

Deadline: March 5th, 2021

If you want a creative outlet for your artistic talents, check out this opportunity! Google is offering up to $50,000 for you or your school/organization based off of your artwork, or "doodles"!

5. Engebretson Foundation Scholarship // Organization: Engebretson Foundation

Amount: $5,000 per Semester

Deadline: March 21st, 2021

Every year, the Engebretson Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors who are recognized for their academic achievements and leadership ability. Each scholarship provides the recipient with $5,000 per semester to cover tuition and other fees, hoping to allow the student to focus on their education.

6. Amazon x Pharrell "Your Voice is Power" Scholarship // Amazon

Amount: Up to $5,000

Deadline: March 12th, 2021

Students explore how computer science, music, and entrepreneurship can advance equity. Students will need to code a 30 second to 3 minute musical remix using Pharrell's new. song"Entrepreneur". These remixes will then be judged based on quality of music, code, and messaging by a panel of industry professionals.

7. State Farm Companies Foundation Scholarship // State Farm

Amount: $5,000 per year over 4 years

Deadline: March 31st, 2021

Through this program, legal dependents of State Farm associates are eligible to win a scholarship through State Farm. 100 Students will be awarded $5,000 per year over 4 years.

8. Amazon Black Employee Network (BEN) Scholarship // Amazon

Amount: $5,000 per year over 4 years

Deadline: March 4th, 2021

Amazonis making a move to support underserved students in the computer science and supply chain fields. Amazon’s Black Employee Network has opened a scholarship program to assist high school seniors who plan to continue their education in college and pursue a computer science or supply chain-related field of study and career. Recipients of the award will receive $5,000 per year for four years, as well as connections to industry mentors and peers from Amazon’s Black Employee network!

9. Monica Abbot Scholarship // Unigo

Amount: $2,000

Deadline: March 15th, 2021

The Monica Abbott Scholarship is available for female students in California who demonstrate athletic achievement, leadership, and academic merit. This scholarship is offered twice a year, totaling $2000.

10. Unigo $10,000 Annual Scholarship // Unigo

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: December 31st, 2021

A pretty simple scholarship with a big payout. For this scholarship, all you have to do is answer a simple question in 250 words or less. Answer the question, "Imagine a historical figure is brought back to life. Who is it? What's their favorite mobile app?" Start thinking of who you'd bring back and what apps they'll use and get to writing!

11. Blacks at Microsoft Scholarship // Microsoft

Amount: Up to $5,000 per year

Deadline: March 31st, 2021

The BAM Scholarship was created to encourage Black and African American students to attend college and pursue a career in technology. The goal is to empower future generations to do and be more. Check out the details here!

12. Bubba Wallace's "Live to Be Different" Scholarship" // Bold.org

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: May 31st, 2021

Bubba and Live To Be Different's mission is to encourage the next generation to be better and more inclusive than every generation before so that they can achieve anything that they set their mind to. Share an experience where you faced adversity and how you overcame it.

13. Cameron Impact Scholarship // Bryan Cameron Education Foundation

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: September 10th, 2021

This scholarship specifically is looking for candidates who have displayed strong evidence of leadership, involvement in extracurriculars and community service, and who want to make a positive impact on the world around them. If this fits you, check out this scholarship! It offers to pay the full tuition for students entering college.

14. McDonald's HACER National Scholarship // Organization: McDonald's

Amount: $100,000 ($25,000 over 4 years)

Deadline: February 3rd, 2021 *Closed*

Your generation is making a difference in the world, and McDonald's is looking to help students of Hispanic descent be part of that change. McDonald's is offering $100,000 in scholarships to high school seniors of Hispanic descent and showcase academic achievements, leadership, community involvement, financial need, and more!

15. Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship Program // Organization: Amazon

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: February 21, 2021 *Closed*

This scholarship program awards high school seniors who are planning on their education pursuing a major in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or other computer-related fields. The student needs to have completed an advanced placement computer science course or have taken the advanced placement computer science test. Winners of the award receive $10,000 per year at an accredited four-year college or university as well as a paid summer internship at Amazon after their freshman year of college.

16. The Dream National Scholarship // Organization: TheDream.US

Amount: Up to $33,000

Deadline: February 25, 2021 *Closed*

Think of The Dream National Scholarship as the “Pell Grant” for highly motivated DREAMers with significant, unmet financial need. While The Dream considers your GPA and test scores, they place great emphasis on your demonstrated commitment to community service and your ability to overcome the barriers and challenges that DREAMers face each and every day.

17. College Board Opportunity Scholarships for Class of 2021 // Organization: College Board

Amount: Up to $40,000

Deadline: February 28, 2021 *Closed*
