Tuition is a huge factor when it comes to choosing a college - but hopefully, financial aid and scholarships can support the cost. That's why we created the list of the largest scholarships for college. We're talking about tens of thousands of dollars in free money!

1. Google Scholarships // Organization: Google

Amount: Up to $10,000

Deadline: Varies

This past year Google has hosted a few scholarships which include the Generation Google Scholarship, Google Lime Scholarship, and more. Multiple scholarships are available, Google Scholarships are open now with rotating deadlines.

2. Brady Corbin Law Group "Expect the Unexpected" Scholarship" // Bold.com

Amount: Up to $4,000

Deadline: April 15th, 2021 *Closed*

Due to COVID-19, we've all come to "Expect the Unexpected". The way we react and adapt to these events shows our character and our efforts to evolve. To have a chance at winning up to $2,500 , write about what leaving a legacy means to you and the sort of legacy you would like to leave behind. The first-place winner of the scholarship will receive a $2,500 award. The runner-up will receive a $1,500 award.

3. Amazon x Pharrell "Your Voice is Power" Scholarship // Amazon

Amount: Up to $5,000

Deadline: June 4th, 2021

Students explore how computer science, music, and entrepreneurship can advance equity. Students will need to code a 30 second to 3 minute musical remix using Pharrell's new. song"Entrepreneur". These remixes will then be judged based on quality of music, code, and messaging by a panel of industry professionals.

4. Milton Fisher Scholarship for Innovation and Creativity // Milton Fisher

Amount: Up to $20,000

Deadline: May 3rd, 2021

The Milton Fisher Scholarship is a four-year renewable scholarship open to exceptionally Innovative and Creative high school juniors and seniors, and first-time college freshmen. This scholarship is only available to students who reside in the Connecticut or New York City metro area.

5. NAHJ/Getty Images Inclusion Scholarship // NAHJ

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: May 14th, 2021

Students who are interested in photojournalism should apply to this scholarship. One winner will be awarded $10,000, a one-year membership to NAHJ, and access to NAHJ career fairs and conventions. Students will need to submit a portfolio that contains 15-20 photographs, as well as an unofficial transcript, resume, essay, and letter of recommendation. 

6. Shawn Carter Scholarship // Shawn Carter Foundation

Amount: All Tuition and Supplemental Educational Materials

Deadline: April 30th, 2021

The Shawn Carter Foundation believes that any motivated individual in need should have the opportunity to further their own education. They are providing grants to help pay for tuition and other educational material, such as books, lab fees, and other costs of living. 

7. Unigo $10,000 Annual Scholarship // Unigo

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: December 31st, 2021

A pretty simple scholarship with a big payout. For this scholarship, all you have to do is answer a simple question in 250 words or less. Answer the question, "Imagine a historical figure is brought back to life. Who is it? What's their favorite mobile app?" Start thinking of who you'd bring back and what apps they'll use and get to writing!

8. Bubba Wallace's "Live to Be Different" Scholarship" // Bold.org

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: May 31st, 2021

Bubba and Live To Be Different's mission is to encourage the next generation to be better and more inclusive than every generation before so that they can achieve anything that they set their mind to. Share an experience where you faced adversity and how you overcame it.

9. Cameron Impact Scholarship // Bryan Cameron Education Foundation

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: September 10th, 2021

This scholarship specifically is looking for candidates who have displayed strong evidence of leadership, involvement in extracurriculars and community service, and who want to make a positive impact on the world around them. If this fits you, check out this scholarship! It offers to pay the full tuition for students entering college.

10. Stuck at Prom Scholarship Contest // Duck Brand

Amount: Up to $10,000

Deadline: July 21st, 2021

It's prom season, so let's see all those Prom outfits! Duck Brand is throwing a scholarship contest where two winners will be awarded $10,000 and two runner-ups will be awarded $500. All you have to do is take a picture of your prom outfit, submit it, and go vote on the best outfit!

11. The Tang Scholarship // Silicon Valley Community Foundation

Amount: Up to $60,000 over 4 years

Deadline: April 30th, 2021

The Tang Scholarship aims to support Filipino and Asian members of the LGBTQ community. This scholarship is to help LGBTQ youth proudly achieve educational pursuits and dreams without shame. This scholarship awards $15,000 each year for four years.

12. All Star College Scholarship // Umps Care

Amount: $10,000

Deadline: May 14th, 2021

The All-Star Scholarship is open to students who were adopted at or after the age of 13. Their goal is to provide increased opportunities for advanced education, giving one student $10,000 annually that will go towards tuition, books, and other college related expenses.

13. Target Scholars Program // Target and UNCF

Amount: $5,000

Deadline: June 16th, 2021

Target is working with UNCF to provide $5,000 scholarships to 1,000 black students who will be attending an HBCU. They are hoping to support the next generation of black students. Students should have an interest in technology, leadership, or design. Winners of this scholarship will win $5,000, receive support from a college success coach, and access to professional development and internships.

14. Latinos in Technology // Silicon Valley Community Foundation

Amount: Up to $30,000

Deadline: April 13th, 2021 *Closed*

The Silicon Valley Community Foundation is hoping to help Latino students who are interested in STEM fields. 100 Latino students will be given support throughout college and will also have the opportunity for summer internships. Scholarship winners will be awarded up to $30,000 over the course of 3 years.
