In each of the positions listed below, you will be able to connect with high school and college students both in your community and across America, helping them navigate through their next steps in school, work, and life. You’ll also receive valuable hands-on job experience, learning how a nonprofit runs while gaining mentorship from a supportive team!

Paid Positions

Youth Advisory Council (Remote - Paid Opportunity)

Our National Youth Advisory Council (YAC) plays a key role in our work and mission. This group is composed of students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds in the U.S. who help us think smarter and strengthen our supports for youth across the country. Learn more about our amazing 2024-2025 YAC!

As a member of the YAC, you’ll learn how to:

✍🏾🎬 Draft written and video content

🤝🏾 Collaborate with members of a team to complete special projects

📢 Plan and launch youth feedback channels

📅🗣️ Build project management and public speaking skills

YAC hiring takes place around August, annually. Each term lasts one school year–approximately 7 months. 

Video & Social Talent (Remote - Paid Opportunity)

Are you in high school or college and love creating content, helping your peers, and making an impact? Join Get Schooled’s team of Video Talent to level up your storytelling and public speaking skills while getting paid! Our talent helps us create fun, relatable, and inspiring video content, supporting students across the U.S. with helpful college and career resources and information. 

As Video Talent, you’ll learn how to:

🎥 Create short-form video content 

🎓 Reach tens of thousands of students

🗣️ Build your public speaking and communication skills

We hire throughout the year and will reach out when positions open up.

Get Schooled Ambassadors (Paid Opportunity - Portland, OR & Washington State) 

As an Ambassador with Get Schooled, you'll play a crucial role in representing and promoting our resources, supports, and engagement campaigns in your school and local community. Ambassadors distribute promotional materials to engage with peers and collaborate with fellow Ambassadors and staff to strengthen the community while enhancing Get Schooled’s reach and impact. 

As an Ambassador for Get Schooled, you’ll learn how to:

🏆👥 Strengthen your leadership and mentorship skills

Recruitment begins each May for high school juniors. Applications open in June, and Ambassadors are selected in early August.
