Simon's #WeBelongInCollege Story

Last updated February 28, 2021

As a young immigrant, Simon had trouble adjusting to the U.S. culture. He was bullied for not being able to speak English, which affected his self-confidence and desire to learn. Fueled by his parents’ hard work and sacrifices, he pushed himself to learn English and American culture and pursue a college degree. He believes in making the best of each opportunity, despite any obstacles.

Simon was a recipient of a $1,000 #WeBelongInCollege Scholarship. Meet the other #WeBelongInCollege Scholarship Winners!
