Ratha’s mom was insistent that Ratha get a college degree, something that was not possible for so many other Yemeni women. After discovering her passion for sociology, Ratha re-enrolled and is currently pursuing a degree in sociology.

Amberli thought she wanted to pursue an athletic training major but had trouble staying motivated and as a result, felt as if she lost her sense of purpose altogether. Thanks to support from her mom and her counselor, she stuck it out and eventually found her true passion.
