Last updated May 13, 2021
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are seeing an increases in adverse childhood experiences within young people worldwide. Trauma-informed support has always been an important part of an educators toolbox, but with new stressors on students and families regarding safety, health, school closures, and remote learning, the need for this type support has become more important.
To address these extraordinary and unprecedent needs, TEA launched Project Restore - a free trauma-informed training video series. Using research-based strategies this series will help educators address their emotional needs as well as the needs of their students and colleagues
