Companies are looking to hire all year-round, but there are some that have tons of opportunities seasonally. There are thousands of jobs available and companies are hiring for seasonal positions this holiday season right now. Check out the list below and be sure to have your resume reviewed for free before you apply!
United States Postal Service (USPS)
The Postal Service (and all delivery companies) is on a hiring spree for full-time, part-time, and seasonal employees! With more things going through the mail than ever, this is a great opportunity to find a job in most all communities across the country. Most common jobs would be processing clerks and distribution associates - great jobs if you're an organized person!
From customer service roles, to online order fulfillment, Target has more than 100,000 seasonal positions available. What’s great is that Target's hourly wage to $15/hour, and may be higher in select cities and locations and your first interview will always be virtual and on your own time. Kohl's is looking to hire up to 90,000 seasonal jobs across the country this holiday season for jobs in stores and in warehouses. Their big pull is that you can earn a bonus from $100 to $400 depending on how long you work with them over the holiday season. They will also be hosting virtual hiring events so be sure to sign up!
Amazon is hiring for tens of thousands during the holiday season. There are three specific roles they need to fill asap: (1) package sorter and loader (2) warehouse, (3) as a store shopper. If you are looking for a flexible schedule, fast-paced environment, and a competitive wage, check out their list of opportunities to find a position near you. They are so eager to hire that they are even offering signing bonuses up to $3,000 in select locations (just be sure to read the fine-print) and up to $22/hour. Depending on your job, you can also access tuition reimbursement for college.
Best Buy is hiring part-time and full-time seasonal employees in their stores and distribution centers. Some of the customer service positions (such as cashier and customer experience specialists) hire at 16 years old, but other positions may require you to be 18 years or older.
FedEx has a list of critical openings available for seasonal and permanent positions. The strain on shipping and supply chains have only made these jobs more critical than ever! If you have an interest in customer service or supply chain management (a great career path), below are a few jobs at FedEx you should look into. Most positions will start at $15/hr and you must be 18 or older to apply.

United Parcel Services (UPS) has nearly 5,000+ seasonal warehouse, customer service, and package handler jobs to fill. If you are 17+ you can work as a package handler and customer service representative. If you are 21 years old and have a driver’s license, you can apply to be a delivery driver. In addition to seasonal (temporary) roles, there are permanent roles as well.
Walmart has said that it is looking to hire 20,000 supply chain and warehouse associates this holiday season. The average wage for these jobs is $20.37/hour. As the holidays get closer, Walmart will often also have incentives to join their team. Additionally, there may be an opportunity to convert to a permanent employee at the end of the holiday season.
