When Should You Ask Questions At Work?

Last updated May 22, 2020

There’s no such thing as a stupid question! If you have a question you need answered in order to do your job well, ask it unless the information you’re looking for is available in writing somewhere (like in your notes, emailed instructions, an employee handbook, etc.).

Check out this guide on how to determine when it’s appropriate to speak up, get help, and ask questions at work.

Still not sure of when you should ask a question? We've got your back! Send us a text (during your lunch break or when you are not at work). Text "DETROIT" to 33-55-77 and one of our job coaches will be able to assist you.
