"I am proud of who I am and of my ethnicity. It means the world to me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am proud of where I come from and the part that it plays in my life."

To me my Hispanic ethnicity means that at times I am going to be left out or even be disrespected because of my race. But even through it all I am proud of who I am and of my ethnicity. It means the world to me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I am proud of where I come from and the part that it plays in my life. I am also very proud of my traditions, including my love for the game of soccer, the Bachata that I dance to, and the enchiladas that I eat. I feel right being who I am and I am not scared or ashamed of it.
