I was blessed to be born Hispanic. Mexican to be exact. With roots all the way from Zacatecas, Sinaloa, and Jalisco. I come from a culture of struggle, hard work, strength, and family. Although it has been a long journey for my grandparents to establish themselves in the heart of Boyle Heights, it has fueled our ambition to continue to strive for a better life and leave a legacy for our next generations to come.
