I am motivated by helping others and improving my
sense of leadership
As a Hispanic-American, I have been pushed to go to college by not only my family but by my peers. Many people like me find it difficult to pay thousands to further their education, and many others enter the workforce to avoid the heavy debts that can be associated with a passion to go to college. As a high school senior who is a Hispanic-American, I push myself to be the first in my family to not only go to a four year university but to also graduate with a degree in accounting. I have been given the opportunity to stand out within my opportunity to not only represent my family and my background, but also my ethnicity. I believe that by pushing myself to obtain these goals, I can motivate others in my shoes to not give up and take action for their education.
