Make Education Fun Again
Wherever you go, learning and the expressing of ideas is taking place. Whether you are at the grocery store, a friend’s house, or playing a sport, the exchange of information is happening. Therefore, it is every student’s responsibility to look for areas where they can go grow and improve. It also helps when we try to make the process fun and exciting.
Don’t expect that school is the only place where you can learn. If you want to better yourself and become a more successful person in the world, you have to expand your mind and challenge your perceptions. Read books, listen to podcasts, watch videos. TED Talks, for example, are a great way to learn about a variety of topics. There are short, 20 minutes speeches ( “talks” ) on everything ranging from creativity to art, science, music, and technology that will help you think differently about the issues that affect you.
The description to a series of videos on the changing landscape of school education says this:
“All over the world, there’s growing consensus that our education systems are broken. These educators share big ideas on how we might re-imagine school.”
The videos can be viewed HERE.
