The college application process is a beast. There are applications, essays, tests, and deadlines to keep up with. There is also the big challenge of finding money for college. Tiona Rollerson and Collecha Newby, students at Thurgood Marshall Academy in Washington, D.C., want you to know the College Dollars Challenge can help!
As Get Schooled ambassadors, Tiona and Collecha encourage their peers to complete the FAFSA early and search for scholarships using the My College Dollars app. They make lunch time announcements about scholarships, call or text their classmates to keep them active in the challenge and even hang up flyers about the challenge.
Both Tiona and Collecha are excited about heading off to college but know it can be pretty expensive. They credit Get Schooled with providing students access to tons of scholarships and grants to make college a realistic option for them, their peers and students around the country!
Big ups to Tiona, Collecha and the students at Thurgood Marshall Academy for getting that paper for college! Be sure to check them out on the leaderboard!
